L'arte può nascere in molti modi e presentarsi in molto forme. Una di esse è sicuramente la fotografia. Anche la fotografia ha molti stili differenti ma normalmente siamo abituati ad intenderla come semplice rappresentazione della realtà... La si può invece plasmare, ricreare e sfruttare come canale di comunicazione di messaggi non convenzionali, di esistenze alternative e di storie uniche e incredibili... questo, è quello che vorrei esprimere con le mie creazioni fotografiche spesso ipercolorate e visionarie dove personaggi ed emozioni, colori e vibrazioni vengono trasmessi vividamente allo spettatore quasi respirassero all'interno del loro mondo. Un piccolo emisfero fotografico di realtà colorate al di là degli stereotipi e dei canoni di bellezza usuali. [ PureBlackLove ]

Art can born in many ways and show itself in many shapes. One of these is for sure photography. Even photography can have many styles but usually we are used to intend that it's like a simple representation of the reality... But you can mould, recreate and exploit it like a comunication channel for non conventional messages, alternative existences and unique and incredible stories... this is what I'm trying to express with my artworks often hyper coloured and visionary where characters and emotions, colors and vibrations are sent vivid to the watcher like they're breathing inside a small world. Sin da quando per la prima volta ho sentito la canzone "Freesia" dei Girugamesh, ho percepito chiaramente 2 cose: la amavo e avrei voluto realizzare una serie per celebrarla. Finalmente, dopo anni, ho trovato la giusta ispirazione per rappresentare i miei sentimenti. Perchè canzoni come questa sono rare e preziose. Concludendo, è solo un consiglio ma ritengo importantissimo che ascoltitate la conzone mentre guardate le foto... la melodia sicuramente vi aiuterà a vivere le mie stesse emozioni.

Since I've heard for the first time the song "Freesia" of the jrock band Girugamesh, I felt 2 things: I love that song and I want to make a series about it. Finally, after years, I found the inspiration for representing my feelings. Because songs that you can love like this one, are rare and precious. Descrizione della serie a cura di Namiko

Questa serie è ispirata ad una poesia di uno dei miei poeti preferiti: Charles Baudelaire. (Sia chiaro fin dal principio che non voglio in nessun modo rappresentarmi come il simbolo della bellezza, era giusto precisarlo.) In questa poesia, la bellezza viene rappresentata come una dea perversa e ghiacciata. L'idea che Baudelaire ha della bellezza (che io condivido) non a niente a che vedere con la perfezione morale, con la serenità o con l'equilibrio psicologico... la protagonista di questa poesia è una figura inquietante: fredda ed elusiva che ha sui suoi adepti un fascino quasi mortale, che inspira la morte e un desiderio di auto distruzione. Quello che spero è che rappresentare questa dea ghiacciata mi aiuti ad essere più forte. QUI potete leggere la versione originale e tradotta della poesia.

This photoshoot was inspired by a poem written by one of my favourite poets ever: Charles Baudelaire. I don't want to represent myself as the symbol of Beauty... as you can see, in this poem the Beauty is represented as a perverse & icy goddess. Baudelaire's idea of beauty ( I perfectly agree with his vision) as nothing to do with moral perfection, serenity or psychological balance... this poem's protagonist is an unnerving figure... icy & elusive. she has on her devouts a deadly fascination. she arouses a desire of death & self-destruction in whoever loves her. All i wish is that this cold & icy goddess will help me to be stronger. HERE you can find the original and translated version of this poem.

Penso che tutti conosciate il personaggio biblico a cui è legato questo nome e in questa serie è molto importante il suo concetto di prima esistenza, nuovo inizio, donna dalle due facce. Inoltre, Eva è il mio PRIMO nome; sempre lei è la PRIMA DONNA immortalata nonchè PRIMA SERIE di foto scattata con la mia nuova macchina fotografica (Nikon D90). E poi perchè la Eva delle foto rappresenta un lato di me che difficilmente gli altri possono vedere: quello legato alla mia femminilità. Questa serie mostra come tutti abbiamo un lato di noi che teniamo nascosto quasi inconsciamente.

I think that everyone knows the biblical character whom this name is related and in this series it's very important the concept of first life, new start and woman of two faces. Besides, Eva is my first name; moreover she is the first woman immortalized and the first series with my new Nikon D90. And then because the Eva that you can see in the these photos represent a side of me that you can hardly see: the one related to my femininity. This series tries to show that everyone have a secret side that we subconsciously hide from the others.

Questa mini serie (di sole tre foto) è molto importante... e non solo per il make up (che è il più difficile che ho realizzato fino ad ora) e per il design del personaggio (questa malsana bambola metà umana/metà meccanica) ma per il concetto che ne ha portato alla creazione. Recentemente sono passata attraverso delle brutte esperienze con persone che pensavano di potermi cambiare e farmi fare quello che volevano come se non avessi un cervello epr ragionare... per poi buttarmi via. Come una bambola. Quindi ho deciso di dimostrargli che non possono tramite questa serie di foto. E voi potete vedere il risultato qui. Perchè io non sono e non sarò mai la loro bambola e ne sono fiera.

This mini series (only 3 photos) is very important for me... not only for the make up (that it's the most difficult to make for now) and the creation of the character (this insane half human half mecha doll) but for the concept. Recently, I passed through some bad experience with people that think they can change me and make me do what they want like I have no brain... then throw me away. Like a doll. So I decide to express this feelings with my photos to prove that they cannot... And you can watch the result here. I'm not they're doll and I'm proud of that.

Certe foto nascono quasi dal nulla… e in quei momenti in cui magari non ci stai neppure pensando. Ma nel momento in cui le scatti, sembrano così ben delineate nella tua testa da credere quasi che siano sempre state li, in attesa che tu le scovassi e le scattassi usando proprio quella tecnica, quell'angolazione, quella luce… Queste sono nate in questo modo, in una serata come molte altre, seguendo il semplice “richiamo dell'arte” come propagatore di immagini ed emozioni…

Some photos born from almost nothing… and in those moments when you are not even thinking about it. But in the moment that you take the photos, they seems so good and clear inside your head that you believe that they wwre always be there, waiting to be founded and shooted using that tecnic, that perspective,that light… These are borned in this way, in a evening like almost others, following the simple "call of art ” like spreading images and emotions…

Alcune volte, ti succede di addormentarti e di sognare delle storie... storie dove tutto ciò che succede ha in parte senso e in parte no, divise tra realtà e subconscio, tra colori e bianco e nero. L'idea è partita proprio da qui... raccontare la storia di un mondo in bianco e nero, dove gli abitanti sono eternamente divisi tra la luce e ombra e non riescono a trovare una via di fuga verso l'equilibrio. Personaggi reali, che provano emozioni, capaci di comunicare senza usare parole. Cercare di sentirsi parte di quel mondo anche solo per un attimo e capire cosa significhi viverci dentro. Forse una similitudine con la realtà che viviamo ogni giorno, o forse sogno, da cui ci si sveglia la mattina e di cui resta solo uno sbuffo di fumo tra i ricordi. Originariamente diviso in 5 parti, trovate qui sotto alcune delle foto + significative e che + amo di questo servizio. Un particolare ringraziamento va a Peanuke perchè è stato il mio primo modello e ha saputo rendere appieno la mia idea senza paura di esporsi. Grazie anche a Gio e Sara che hanno reso possibile tutto il resto.

Sometimes, happens that you fall asleep and you dream stories... stories where all happens has a bit sense and a bit no , between reallyty and immagination, between colors and white and black. The idea started from here... tell a story of a world only in black and white, where the abitants are eternally divided in light and shadow and they can't find a way of escape to balance. Real characters, that feel emotions, with the possibilty to comunicate without talking. Try to feel part of that world just even for a second and understand what it means to live in it. Maybe a similar to the reallity that we live every day, or maybe a dream from we wake up the morning and vanish in a little bit of smoke between memories. Originally divided in 5 parts, you find here the most significative photos and the ones that i love more of this set. A special thank to Peanuke that was my first model and know how to take my ideas without fear to expose himself Peanuke. Thanks even to Gio and Sara that made possibile all the other things.
